At the promotion meeting, Liu Yuxuan, deputy mayor of Taizhou, took "water" as the theme and issued a city invitation to all universities to "drink Taizhou's 'water' together and paint the 'Taizhou' brilliance together". At the event, 12 universities including Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhengzhou University and Qinghai University were awarded the title of "Taizhou Talent Attraction Station"; a plaque awarding ceremony for "College Student Employment Practice Base" was held, and six universities including Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Xi'an Petroleum University and Guangxi University established cooperative relationships with six units including Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Taixing Economic Development Zone Management Committee, and Taizhou Anjing Food Co., Ltd.; Taizhou Municipal Government agencies, key enterprises, and major projects had in-depth connections with participating universities, which led to the signing of 12 school-local-enterprise talent cooperation projects to develop new quality productivity.
Over the past decade, the eight cities along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu, including Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Nantong, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang and Taizhou, have connected with universities across the country through group promotion, forming a well-known talent attraction brand of "Joint Talent Attraction in the Eight Cities Along the Yangtze River", providing a paradise for employment, a blessed land for entrepreneurship and a harbor for growth for university graduates. The event simultaneously promoted the market conditions, industrial development and talent policies of the eight cities along the Yangtze River, released 26,787 talent job requirements of 2,627 key enterprises, and jointly launched the autumn campus recruitment activities of the eight cities along the Yangtze River, extending an "olive branch" to universities across the country.
After the promotion meeting, recruitment and employment managers from hundreds of universities visited Yangtze River Pharmaceutical and Great Wall Motors, and went deep into each city (district) to visit key parks and enterprises in Taizhou's development of new quality productivity, deepened the docking and negotiation between industry, academia and research, and experienced Taizhou's industrial development status, talent ecology and the vigorous charm of urban development in an all-round, multi-level and close-up manner.
