At about 9:00 on August 11, Wangquan Police Station of Shunyi Public Security Bureau received a report that someone wanted to commit suicide by jumping off a building near a furniture mall in the jurisdiction. The police on duty immediately contacted the caller and learned that the girl who wanted to jump off the building had recently become depressed due to emotional problems and had taken a lot of drugs, which put her at risk of committing suicide by jumping off the building.

Due to the large number of residential areas and commercial buildings in Wangquan, the exact location could not be determined immediately. The police officer on duty asked the caller to contact his friend again to get the exact location while driving to the existing location to search.

Soon, the police found the woman by the window of the 16th floor corridor of a residential building. The woman was sitting by the window with her legs curled up, not saying a word and refusing to communicate with anyone. Judging from the woman's expression and reaction, she must have taken a lot of drugs.

"Come down first, why are you here alone?" the police officer asked as he approached the woman, helped her down and took her to a safe area. "Nothing is impossible, you should think more about your family, they are the ones who care about you the most." After rescuing the woman, the police officer continued to counsel her.

The woman had taken a lot of drugs before, so the police called 120 emergency number and accompanied her to the hospital emergency center. After treatment, the woman was no longer in danger of life. The woman was then handed over to her father for care.
