Beijing News (Reporter Zhou Huixiaowan) On August 15, the Northeast revenge comedy "Avenge the Past Shame", produced by Zhao Xiaoding and directed by Yu Guangyi and Yu Qiushi, released the "Eight Parties Add Trouble" version of the release trailer and poster, announcing that it will be released in theaters nationwide on September 15, the Mid-Autumn Festival, and simultaneously revealed the cast. Qiao Shan and Ma Li will work together again after "Life Is Not Familiar", and Liu Yitie, Bao Beier, Zhao Longhao, Zhou Dayong and other comedians will gather.

The film combines comedy and crime genres, telling the story of a cowardly boss (Qiao Shan) who, fifteen years ago, watched the car that hit and injured his younger brother (Liu Yitie) flee due to a moment of cowardice. After years of investigation, he accidentally discovered that the perpetrator was in this village, and behind the perpetrator, there was actually a "gas rat" gang. The boss decided to take revenge alone, but he didn't expect that various accidents would continue, and other neighbors, led by his childhood sweetheart Jin Yan (Ma Li), were also involved.
In the trailer, Qiao Shan plays the cowardly boss who decides to avenge his brother alone. Before the action, he shows his truck driver's license to Jin Yan, played by Ma Li, to show his strength, but Jin Yan says "the photo is over-retouched". The "chopped onion-hearted" boss is determined to take action tonight, but he didn't expect to have frequent car accidents along the way. First, the plan was disrupted by the unlucky driver Si Liangzi who showed up halfway. Then, the continuous unexpected oolong incidents involved the neighbors including Jin Yan. A weird melee of "one side in trouble, all sides add to the chaos" began. The joke of "artificial breathing is impossible" at the end made the audience laugh.
As a film about the local Northeast, the film was not only shot in Daqing, but also incorporated many Northeast elements, making the film full of "Dachazi flavor". For example, the corn fields, old factories, large oil fields, excavators and oil trucks placed everywhere are full of the regional atmosphere of the former industrial center. The Northeast big mink that everyone has and the Northeast way of getting along with each other, which makes every scene full of the intimacy of Northeast homeliness.
