Recently, Dreame Technology announced the establishment of the Zhuichuang Robot Industry Venture Capital Fund (hereinafter referred to as "Zhuichuang Venture Capital"), which includes a growth-stage strategic fund and an early- to mid-stage incubation fund, with a total target size of RMB 11 billion. The growth-stage strategic fund has a size of RMB 10 billion, and most of the funds have been raised. The fund was jointly initiated by Dreame Technology and local governments.
It is reported that the mid-to-early stage incubation fund managed by Zhuichuang Venture Capital has recently completed the first round of fundraising in just three months. The total size of the fund is RMB 1 billion, and investors include Dreame Technology, local governments, state-owned enterprises, industrial groups, etc.
In terms of investment layout, Zhuichuang Venture Capital will target the AI+Robots track, and explore investment opportunities in the four major areas of upstream hardware, robot software, industrial robots, and service robots along the upstream and downstream of the pan-robotics industry chain.
"Relying on the industry perspective, Zhuichuang Venture Capital can better lay out the future industry beta." Lei Ming, founding partner of Zhuichuang Venture Capital, said. In terms of track layout, Zhuichuang Venture Capital will focus on upstream core components that adapt to the next generation of innovative robots, robot software combined with large models, and downstream terminal robot application products with strong versatility.
Lei Ming said: "Humanoid robots are still in the early stages of development, and it may take another 5-10 years for them to really explode on a large scale. Even so, in the 0 to 1 stage before the large-scale explosion, there are many vertical scenarios that can be implemented first, and early commercialization can be carried out in these fields. There are many opportunities. For example, high-value retail scenarios, factory human-machine collaboration scenarios, etc., the work in these scenarios has standard SOPs, and robots can completely liberate people from tedious and repetitive labor."
