The reporter from The Paper noticed that the official WeChat public account of the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences released a message on the evening of August 14: As of August 14, 2024, the article "Mediation Effect Analysis: Method and Model Development" published by Wen Zhonglin and Ye Baojuan in "Advances in Psychological Science" (2014) has been cited by 20,028 papers, becoming the first Chinese journal paper in China National Knowledge Infrastructure to be cited more than 20,000 times.

According to the screenshots provided in the above-mentioned public account article, as of August 14, among the top ten Chinese journal papers cited in CNKI, three were from Professor Wen Zhonglin and his collaborators, ranking first, second, and fifth respectively.
