The spokesperson also said that the South Korean government urges the Japanese leadership to face up to history and reflect on it through practical actions.
It was previously reported that on August 15, the day of Japan's surrender, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida offered sacrifices called "Tamagushiryo" to the Yasukuni Shrine through an agent.
