The National Botanic Gardens Dublin has been voted the best garden in Europe, surpassing other famous botanical gardens in the UK, Czech Republic, Italy, France and Sweden.

According to Accor's research, the ranking is based on a comprehensive analysis of factors such as Google reviews, number of facilities, visual experience, online popularity and price. Dublin Botanic Gardens performed well in these aspects and ranked first.

The Dublin Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin was founded in 1795 by the Dublin Society (later renamed the Royal Dublin Society). The gardens now contain approximately 20,000 living plants and millions of dried plant specimens.

This tourist attraction is known for its historic glass greenhouses, which were built between the early 19th and mid-20th centuries. The gardens are open year-round (except Christmas Day) and admission is free.
