This is the first time that Hunan Aviation Port has imported Hungarian bottled red wine.
Hungary is a famous wine producing region in Europe, with its mild climate and fertile soil, which breeds a variety of grape varieties. The TELEKI brand red wine imported in original bottles is well-known for its deep color, rich fruity aroma, elegant taste and unique flavor, and is deeply loved by red wine lovers around the world. With the help of the "Air Silk Road", TELEKI red wine has achieved the "high-quality products entering Hunan", allowing Hunan consumers to taste the authentic European flavor at their doorstep.
Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is located in central Europe and is known as the "Heart of Europe". It has a well-developed transportation system and is an important distribution center for my country's trade with Europe. In December 2023, the Changsha-Budapest cargo route was opened, creating an air cargo channel between Hunan and Europe, enabling Hunan products to go overseas and high-quality products to enter Hunan.
It is understood that the route operates 1-2 flights per week, and has operated 132 round trips so far, transporting more than 5,000 tons of cargo in total. Lens Technology, Bosch Automotive, CRRC Times Semiconductor, SEG and other companies have become beneficiaries of the route.
It is reported that the current export goods of this route are mainly high-tech products of local enterprises, especially auto parts, and cross-border e-commerce goods have also grown explosively. In terms of imports, the import of high-quality Hungarian dairy products, fruits, and wines will be expanded.
This year, Changsha has accelerated the layout of its international aviation network. In the first half of the year, Changsha Huanghua International Airport opened 18 international routes, including five all-cargo routes, with an international (regional) cargo and mail throughput of 34,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 26.7%.
