According to a report from Fast Technology on August 14, blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that OPPO has developed three screens, namely a 1.5K small straight screen, a 1.5K equal-depth micro-curved screen, and a 2K equal-depth micro-curved screen.

Among them, the 2K iso-depth micro-curved screen will be used on OPPO Find X8 Ultra and OnePlus 13, provided by BOE.

It is reported that the 2K equidistant micro-curved screen of OnePlus 13 is 6.8 inches in size and has a resolution of 3168×1440. This is OnePlus’ first equidistant micro-curved screen model.

Compared with the traditional dual-curved screen, the equal-depth micro-curved screen is not only a micro-curved design, but also has four equally narrow sides. Since it is micro-curved and four equally narrow sides, this means that its four R corners are almost the same curvature, thus avoiding the "cat ear" problem of traditional curved screens.

This new form not only has the precise touch and clear display of a straight screen, but also has the elegant appearance and comfortable grip of a curved screen, achieving a good balance in design, experience and cost.

In addition, the OnePlus 13 screen also uses 8T LTPO technology. This technology adds a set of reset circuits based on the original 7T circuit, which effectively improves the pixel refresh frequency and achieves more uniform and accurate pixel brightness, while taking into account smoothness and saving power.
