Recently, blogger "Dong Laosi Talks about Cars" released a video saying,Because he released a video about Ideal MEGA in March, he was sued by Ideal Auto and demanded 1 million yuan in compensation. On August 12, the person in charge of Ideal Auto responded to the reporter on this matter and said,The video posted by the blogger involved contained a lot of insulting information that denigrated the brand and the MEGA model, causing adverse effects on the company. The case is currently being heard in court, so we are not in a position to respond to more detailed information.

On the evening of August 10, "Dong Laosi Says Cars" released a video saying that he had received a response notice from the Wujin District Court of Changzhou City. Beijing Ideal Auto Co., Ltd. sued him for the video he had previously released about Ideal MEGA, which caused damage to MEGA's image and a decline in sales. The blogger was required to apologize in the newspaper and compensate for 1 million yuan in economic losses.

"Dong Laosi Talks about Cars" stated that the Ideal MEGA model has been on the market for a long time, and the image and sales volume of MEGA are mainly determined by its design and price. He was not instructed by anyone, nor did he gain any illegal benefits from the video, nor did he instruct netizens to comment. He is willing to communicate with Ideal Auto and its founder Li Xiang in Beijing.

Regarding the incident, on the 12th, a relevant person in charge of Ideal Auto responded to reporters that on March 7 this year, the company discovered that "Dong Laosi Talks about Cars" released a short video titled "Crazy New Cars".The video contains a large amount of insulting information that denigrates the Ideal Auto brand and MEGA model, causing adverse effects on the company.

The person in charge said that Ideal Auto has taken legal measures to protect its rights. The case is currently under trial in court, so it is inconvenient to respond to more details. The company believes that the court will make a fair ruling based on the facts.

The reporter noticed that on March 1 this year, Ideal Auto's first pure electric MPV Ideal MEGA was officially launched, but it has been plagued by controversy since then. Ideal MEGA was maliciously photoshopped, and some netizens photoshopped words such as "葬" and "新元葬车" onto the car body. The related pictures sparked heated discussions on the Internet.

On March 11, Li Xiang, founder and CEO of Ideal Auto, responded to the incident in a post on WeChat Moments, saying that Ideal Auto is already using legal means to deal with the organized illegal and criminal activities that have occurred in the past ten days. "We have decided to start fighting back, using light to fight back against darkness."

It was also reported that this was not the first time that "Dong Laosi Talks about Cars" became the focus of discussion.

In February this year, his account posted several videos related to Lei Jun, the head of Xiaomi. Because he repeatedly called Lei Jun "Jun'er", Xiaomi complained and removed all the videos involved. Since then, "Jun'er" has become popular on the Internet and has been quoted and ridiculed by netizens many times. In July, Lei Jun responded to "Jun'er"'s ridicule in a self-deprecating tone in his annual speech "Courage", saying that Xiaomi's car manufacturing is a well-thought-out strategic decision.

Many videos related to "Jun'er" on "Dong Laosi Talks about Cars" have been removed

In response to this, "Dong Lao Si Talks about Cars" responded to the reporter that "it is a positive interaction with Xiaomi." He further added that "Jun'er" is a more phenomenal word they created. For each short video created around Xiaomi, there is no slander or defamation in itself, but it is used to slander and defame when it is quoted by other creators on the Internet.

"Dong Lao Si Talks about Cars" mentioned that Xiaomi as a whole affirms positive creations and welcomes them to create more. The removal of the "Jun'er" video was the same operation applied to all the defamatory videos on the platform and was not targeted at "Dong Lao Si Talks about Cars".
