Concord promises to be a rich experience at launch, with six maps, six modes, and 16 freelancers, but as a multiplayer online shooter it will of course continue to grow and develop over time. Sony and developer Firewalk have revealed new details on their post-launch plans for the game, including new freelancers, maps, modes, storylines, and more.

As previously confirmed, Overwatch will not have a battle pass/season pass, nor will there be any paid post-launch expansions. The game's first post-launch season, "Season 1: Stormfall," will launch in October, a few months after the game's launch, and will add a new Freelancer, a new map, and new variants of previous Freelancers.

Players can also look forward to new cosmetics and rewards, quality of detail improvements, and of course, new story segments. Firewalk said it plans to provide more of these with each new season. In addition, Season 1 will also add an in-game cosmetics store.

Season 2 will launch in January and will bring more of the same content as Season 1, with a new mode. Season 3 will arrive in April, although there are still few details about what exactly Season 3 will contain.

"Star Wars" will be released on PS5 and PC platforms on August 23.
