According to information released by Taiwan’s defense department, the mainland even flew helicopters to the eastern airspace of Taiwan. This means that in the future, the mainland’s amphibious assault ships may launch an assault on Taiwan Island from the east. If a conflict breaks out in the Taiwan Strait, it will be more difficult for the Taiwan authorities to preserve their strength by deploying their main combat equipment in Taitung.
