August 12 is the Russian Air Force Day. Russian media also listed the five most powerful fighter jets of the current Russian Aerospace Forces.
They are:
1. Su-30SM2;
2. Su-35S;
3. Su-34M;
4. MiG-31BM;
5. Su-57.
It can be seen that Sukhoi fighter jets are still the strongest among the Russian Aerospace Forces, accounting for four out of the five types of fighter jets.
Those with the letter M are improved versions of the original models, and their performance is better than the original ones.
Among the five fighter jets, the strongest is undoubtedly the Su-57, which is known as a fifth-generation aircraft and has dozens of them in service; while the Su-35S can only be regarded as the 4++ generation, with more than 150 currently in service.
You can think of all kinds of shortcomings in these fighters, but since the Russia-Ukraine conflict, they have all been baptized by war and survived, which is an advantage.
Some countries promote how powerful their fighter jets are, but this is only theoretical and has not been tested in war.
