58-year-old Lu Jinhuan is from Dawu Village, Yongledian Town. Recently, she has been rehearsing overtime with her sisters in the forest at the entrance of the village. Because she likes performing arts, she took the lead in establishing a dance team in 2006, named "Le Yangyang Song and Dance Troupe", and has since often participated in performances in the village and town. This year, Yongledian Town held the first "Summer Village Evening" benefit performance season tour, and she signed up with her sisters. "Everyone is very happy, and they especially like the feeling of standing on the stage and performing for everyone." Lu Jinhuan said happily that their program "My Home is in Dawu" is purely original, "We just want to let more people know about our Dawu Village's century-old Pingju through our performance."
The first "Summer Village Evening" benefit performance season in Yongledian Town was well received by villagers as soon as it was launched. In the early audition, more than 500 people and 85 programs signed up. After strict selection by the judges, 76 programs were successfully shortlisted, covering a variety of art forms such as singing and dancing, opera, sketches, and performances.
