China News Service, Beijing, August 12 (Reporter Xu Jing) The opening ceremony of the "Caring for Growth and Lighting Hope" public welfare series of activities and the opening ceremony of the summer camp were held in Beijing on the 12th. This event, in the form of "culture + art", centered on the Chinese traditional cultural classic "Classic of Mountains and Seas", carried out a series of aesthetic education activities for children and teenagers.
This event was hosted by Beijing Women and Children Development Foundation, supported by Beijing State-owned Assets Company, and undertaken by Beijing Foreign Cultural Exchange Co., Ltd. The series of activities included the "Playing in Mountains and Seas" Guardian Fox Xiaojiu Summer Camp, the "Pursuing Mountains and Seas" drama activities charity tour, the "Patriotic Mountains and Seas" children's heart and children's patriotic calligraphy and painting collection, and the "Children's Travel in Mountains and Seas" listening and reading fun park show.

On the opening day, the summer camp welcomed a group of special young visitors, who were from Liangjiazhuang Village, Taishang Village, Tahe Village, Dujiazhuang Village in Qingshui Town, Mentougou District, and Yangshuwan Village in Changshaoying Manchu Township, Huairou District, which have been supported by the caring enterprise Beijing State-owned Assets Corporation for a long time.
The summer camp combines drama experience with Beijing's cultural and artistic exploration of Citywalk. In the morning, the children watched the panoramic immersive children's interactive drama "Children's Travels in the Mountains and Seas: Guardian Fox Xiaojiu", which is an immersive drama that integrates "seeing, hearing, playing, learning, and remembering" in multiple dimensions. Afterwards, they participated in the drama education workshop under the guidance of professional children's drama instructors and experienced the full interactive teaching experience.

In the afternoon, the Beijing Cultural and Art Exploration Citywalk was launched. The children visited the Longfu Cultural Center, where tradition and modernity complement each other, and felt the charm of Beijing's new cultural landmark and the landscape of Beijing. They went to the century-old theater, the Jixiang Theater, located in the Wangfujing District, to start a theme activity of "Exploring the Beauty of Peking Opera" to learn about the history and culture of Peking Opera. The summer camp will last until August 14.
The "Pursuing Mountains and Seas" drama charity event will invite drama director and drama education expert Ye Xunqian to visit schools in Beijing, Inner Mongolia and other places to conduct a series of charity lectures on the theme of "Classic of Mountains and Seas" related to "Drama Creativity Changes Vision". Through the drama charity lectures, children's aesthetic vision will be broadened, and cultural education will help rural revitalization.
This charity event will hold an online "Patriotic Mountains and Seas" children's heart and children's patriotic calligraphy and painting collection, soliciting calligraphy and painting works from children aged 5 to 12 across the country. The event will also join hands with Himalaya Children to hold the "Children's Travels in Mountains and Seas" listening and reading fun park show, and create a "Children's Travels in Mountains and Seas" theme listening and reading fun park special area on the Himalaya Children's APP, providing children with a listening and reading area and story reading activities.
