"As for the BRICS leaders' meeting, we look forward to receiving a formal invitation in the coming days, and I am willing to participate in the forum's related work," Wu Lin said.

Russia is the rotating chair of the BRICS this year. Russian presidential aide Ushakov said in March this year that the 2024 BRICS leaders' meeting will be held in Kazan, Russia from October 22 to 24. This will be the first summit after the expansion of the BRICS cooperation mechanism.
