On August 8, the Guang'an power grid load hit a new high, breaking through 1.7 million kilowatts for the first time, reaching 1.716 million kilowatts, an increase of 8.3% year-on-year. The highest record has been broken five times this year.

The relevant person in charge of the State Grid Guang'an Power Supply Company introduced that by strengthening power supply management, optimizing operation methods, and actively visiting customers, the power generation capacity, power grid power supply capacity and customer service level of the power supply company have been effectively improved, and the people of the city have been fully guaranteed to spend the summer in a cool and cool environment.

The company has continuously made efforts to optimize the power grid structure and improve the power supply capacity. Since the beginning of this year, the company has put into operation 74 transmission and distribution projects, increased the transformer capacity by 230,000 kVA, and efficiently completed 19 key projects, including the power supply capacity improvement of the 500 kV Huangyan Station main transformer, the 220 kV Huangtong double-circuit section improvement, and the 220 kV Daishi Station main transformer capacity expansion and transformation. The 110 kV Liemian transmission and transformation project, a key provincial summer project, was put into operation ahead of schedule, effectively increasing the power supply capacity of Guang'an area by 16%, further meeting the city's power load growth needs.
It is reported that in order to ensure the safe and reliable supply of electricity, Guang'an has continuously strengthened the load management of small and medium-sized power sources in the region, organized power generation companies to establish a day-ahead forecast and intra-day consultation mechanism for power generation capacity, and coordinated with the Municipal Economic and Information Bureau to supervise power plants to eliminate two unit defects in a timely manner, tapping into a peak power generation capacity of 200,000 kilowatts. The seven main small and medium-sized power plants in the region achieved the goal of continuous full power generation during peak hours.
On the evening of August 7, substation operation and maintenance personnel carried out special patrol and temperature measurement work at the 35 kV Shiyong substation.
At the same time, we conducted visits and surveys of customers in industrial parks and other places to timely understand users' production plans and load conditions; strengthened the inspection and maintenance of key power transmission and transformation equipment, dynamically adjusted the main distribution network mode, and effectively alleviated the heavy overload of equipment; strengthened professional coordination, carried out zero-point fault elimination in an orderly manner, and successfully completed the defect handling of equipment such as the 220 kV Jianfeng Station No. 1 main transformer and the 110 kV Fanniu South Line.
In addition, the company has also built a convenient electricity platform, established a three-level linkage service network of village network, community network and park network, and incorporated electricity services into village (community) unified services to meet the electricity needs of society and residents. It has carried out summer safety services for high-risk and important users, carried out hidden danger inspections for power distribution facilities in residential areas, and dealt with 457 hidden dangers in total to ensure the safe operation of equipment and facilities and reliable power supply.
"We also use a combination of 'online + offline' methods to carry out scientific electricity use and energy-saving publicity through multiple channels, continuously enhance users' awareness of saving electricity, and help form a green and low-carbon social trend."
