According to the official news from the AFC, the 32 teams participating in the 2024/25 AFC Champions League will hold a group draw ceremony in Kuala Lumpur at 3 pm local time on August 16. They will be divided into 8 groups (4 groups each in East and West Asia), with 4 teams in each group. The competition will be held from September 17 to December 5 in a home and away round-robin system.

First tier: Mubarak Steel (Iran), Gharafa Sports (Qatar)/Dubai Youth National (UAE), Al Wakkara (Qatar), Buraydah Cooperation (Saudi Arabia), Al Wakkara (Qatar)
