Specifically, Western Digital's exhibits include 8-channel master controller, performance-level products with external DRAM, and 4-channel master controller, DRAM-less mainstream products.
Both SSDs are based on the Kioxia-Western Digital Alliance BiCS8 (IT Home Note: 218 layers) 3D TLC NAND flash memory, using the M.2 2280 form factor.
Among them, Western Digital's performance-level products achievedApproximately 15GB/s (14956 MBps) sequential read, while the power consumption is only 6.53W, achieving a data transmission energy efficiency of 2298 MBps/W. In addition, the random read speed of the disk can reach 2066.7K IOps.
