This newspaper (reporter Su Deyue) On August 9, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the relevant situation of the "Opinions on Promoting the High-quality Development of Service Consumption". Reporters learned from the meeting that in recent years, my country's service consumption models, formats, and scenarios have been constantly innovating. The "Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of Service Consumption" recently issued by the State Council proposed that we should enhance the momentum of service consumption by innovating service consumption scenarios, strengthening brand cultivation, and expanding the opening up of the service industry; we should strengthen service consumption supervision, guide honest and compliant operations, improve service consumption standards, optimize the service consumption environment, highlight green, digital, and healthy consumption, and accelerate the cultivation of new growth points for service consumption.

Data released at the meeting showed that in the first half of this year, my country's service consumption expenditure accounted for 45.6% of per capita consumption expenditure, an increase of 1.1 percentage points year-on-year. With the accelerated evolution of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, new technologies continue to emerge, and service robots such as food delivery, education, and medical care are constantly iterating and upgrading. In the first half of the year, the output of service robots increased by 22.8% year-on-year. New models such as "Internet +" medical services and digital education have developed steadily, and new formats such as e-sports, social e-commerce, and live e-commerce have grown rapidly, providing consumers with richer, more diverse, and more convenient consumption options.

Chang Tiewei, head of the Employment, Income Distribution and Consumption Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, said that in June this year, the National Development and Reform Commission took the lead in formulating and issuing the "Measures on Creating New Consumption Scenarios and Cultivating New Consumption Growth Points", which focused on guiding and encouraging the digitization and intelligence of consumption scenarios. While promoting the rapid implementation of these policies, the innovation and upgrading of service consumption scenarios will be included in the "Top 100 New Consumption Scenarios" activities to be carried out in conjunction with relevant departments in the next step. In addition, it will promote the innovation and integration of various service formats such as commerce, transportation, culture, tourism, and sports, promote the deep integration of advanced manufacturing and modern service industries, promote the integrated development of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries in rural areas, and enhance the development momentum of service consumption.
