In order to actively respond to the call of the Education, Culture and Sports Department of Jinan High-tech Zone, promote the all-round development of students, enrich students' summer life, and effectively solve the problem of "difficulty in caring for" students during the summer vacation, Jinan High-tech Zone Fengao Jiayuan Primary School has thoroughly implemented the "three guidance" education concept, namely guiding the progress of family education, the improvement of civic literacy and the development of community civilization, and carefully planned and carried out a series of summer student growth community activities.
This activity follows the principles of voluntariness, proximity, mutual assistance, and complementarity, and encourages students to form groups of 4 to 7 people on their own. With the support of parents and the guidance of teachers, each group jointly developed a personalized growth plan and carried out a series of practical activities around the plan, forming a close and distinctive learning and living community. With the purpose of "common progress and mutual support", students actively participated, which not only enhanced friendship, but also achieved self-growth in interaction.
In the joint learning session, students sat together, shared beautiful poems, told fascinating stories, played chess, practiced calligraphy stroke by stroke, and carried out a happy English treasure tour, etc. These activities fully demonstrated the students' desire and love for knowledge and added beautiful memories to their growth path.
Labor education is also an important part of this activity. Through various forms of labor practices such as setting up stalls, making lacquer fans, baking, intangible cultural heritage paper cutting, ceramic sculptures, etc., students not only exercised their hands-on ability, but also honed their willpower. It is worth mentioning that they also learned to unite and help each other, dare to challenge and innovate, and these precious qualities will accompany them throughout their lives.
Sports are an indispensable part of the growth community activities. Students actively participate in sports activities such as running, skipping, playing ball, etc., adhering to the spirit of "training in the coldest days of winter and the hottest days of summer", and continue to exercise. They know that a strong body is the basis of learning and life. They also gain physical and mental health from sports and cultivate a positive mental outlook.
Study tours are one of the most anticipated summer activities for students. Some of them visit museums and science and technology museums to have dialogues with ancient people across time and space; some embark on a journey to find the sages of Confucius. These activities not only broaden students' horizons, but also allow them to learn in practice and grow in experience, truly realizing the "unity of knowledge and action."
