In Deqing, Xingyuan Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Zhejiang Energy, has adopted a comprehensive energy service project that can generate electricity, directly provide cooling, store cold, and store energy. By the end of July this year, the Deqing Natural Gas Distributed Energy Project had used clean energy natural gas to generate 66.457 million kWh of electricity and provided over 800 million kWh of cooling in five years, meeting the needs of the power grid and natural gas pipeline network for peak load reduction and valley filling, and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power grid and natural gas pipeline network.
Zhejiang Energy Xingyuan Company has developed the Deqing natural gas distributed energy project into a comprehensive energy service project that integrates and complements multiple energy sources such as natural gas distributed power generation, distributed cooling, distributed photovoltaic power generation, distributed cold storage, and user-side electric energy storage.
As an energy supply project for China Unicom's Deqing Cloud Data Center, the project has an energy comprehensive utilization efficiency of up to 86.3% and a cooling reliability of 99.999%. After it is put into operation, it can play a role in reducing peaks and filling valleys for the power grid and natural gas pipeline network. It is of great significance in optimizing and adjusting the power supply structure, promoting local economic development, and building an "Ecological Deqing". It has pioneered the application of natural gas distributed energy in large-scale data centers of domestic telecommunications operators. It is the most typical and largest natural gas distributed energy project in the current domestic data center industry, and has set a new benchmark for the green transformation of the energy industry.
