Chinanews.com, Wuxi, August 10 (Sun Quan) From August 8 to 10, the 2024 Taihu Talent Development Conference was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu. During the conference, the finals of the 15th China University Student Service Outsourcing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were held simultaneously.
After fierce competition, 30 teams from Chongqing University, Northeastern University, Nanjing Normal University and other institutions stood out and won the first prize in the Enterprise Proposition Category (Category A), Entrepreneurship Practice Category (Category B) and Wuxi Innovation Category (Category C). As the only national-level competition in the service outsourcing industry, the China University Students Service Outsourcing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (abbreviated as "Service Outsourcing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition") has continuously innovated its competition content and methods in recent years, and its brand effect has continued to expand. It has attracted more than 1,600 colleges and universities and more than 500,000 college students to sign up.
The Service Innovation Competition focuses on the integration of industry and education, and is the first enterprise proposition type (Class A) competition. Industry-leading companies such as Baidu, Alibaba, Haier, Inspur, Pactera, and Neusoft propose propositions based on their own development needs, and participating teams provide solutions based on the project needs of the companies. This has effectively promoted the coordinated development of industry, academia, research, and application, promoted innovation and entrepreneurship in service outsourcing among college students, and built a "reservoir" of project talents for the service outsourcing industry.
The 15th Service Innovation Competition attracted 8,801 teams from 857 universities and colleges, including Nanjing University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, Wuhan University, and Xi'an Jiaotong University. The number of teams increased by 9.9% over the previous session, and the scale of the competition hit a new high. In terms of competition topics, it covers key areas of digital economy such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, large models, and artificial intelligence.
During the finals, the organizing committee of the competition also carried out a series of activities such as the "Taihu Star" College Student Entrepreneurship and Innovation Training Camp, the Hundred Schools and Thousands of Talents Wuxi Tour (Binhu Station), and organized contestants to participate in the "Xi Hopes You Come" new quality productivity high-end talent recruitment fair, and on-site docking with Wuxi's "465" modern industrial cluster key enterprises, further expanding talent attraction channels, enriching talent retention measures, and providing strong talent support for Wuxi's high-quality development.
In the next stage, the organizing committee will continue to promote in-depth cooperation with various sectors and parks in Wuxi, lead outstanding award-winning teams to enter parks and enterprises, let college teachers and students experience Wuxi's first-class business environment and strong entrepreneurial atmosphere, promote in-depth cooperation between schools and enterprises in scientific research projects, talent training, etc., and promote the collaborative innovation and development of industry, academia, research and application.
