On August 9, the reporter learned from the Second Academy of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation that the CASIC Simulation Technology Co., Ltd. under the Second Academy of the Academy has successively mastered key technologies such as tunnel autonomous navigation, radar detection and obstacle avoidance, autonomous route planning, tunnel communication transmission, and ultra-low altitude fire extinguishing, and successfully developed a tunnel unmanned emergency rescue system with independent intellectual property rights.

Experts from the Second Department of the Second Academy of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation said that compared with road rescue, tunnel emergency rescue faces difficulties such as complex terrain, reduced perception conditions, lack of satellite signal support, limited conditions for entering the site, and lack of navigation means.
This unmanned emergency rescue system in the tunnel can realize autonomous navigation in tunnels without satellite signals, intelligently identify and locate fire sources and personnel, accurately deploy rescue equipment or fire-fighting materials, and quickly deal with the fire in the early stages. It solves the problem of no satellite signals, road congestion, and inability to obtain the accident scene conditions in time and deal with it quickly when a fire occurs in a highway tunnel.
At present, the system has completed tunnel autonomous navigation, autonomous obstacle avoidance and fire-extinguishing bomb delivery tests, verifying the flight stability of drones in special environments such as narrow tunnels and without satellite navigation signals. It will be promoted and used in various emergency rescue scenarios such as highway fire fighting. (Reporter Song Chen)
