On August 10, the third lecture of the series "Love China, Repair the Great Wall" was held at the Capital Museum. "Mentougou 'looks east to the capital and west to the northern frontier', and is a place where the Xishan Yongding River cultural belt and the Great Wall cultural belt blend. From the Northern Qi Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, a total of about 12 kilometers of the Great Wall were built here." Gao Xiaolong introduced that in Mentougou, the mountains running from northeast to southwest formed a natural barrier to protect the Beijing Plain.
