According to Xinhua News Agency, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the 10th for an "international investigation" into an Israeli airstrike on a school in the Gaza Strip earlier that day. The attack has killed about 100 people.

Qatar is currently mediating negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) with Egypt and other parties in an effort to facilitate a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and release detained persons.

Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the 10th called for an "urgent international investigation" into the attack on the school in the Gaza Strip, including sending independent UN investigators to find out why the Israeli military "continues to target schools and displaced persons shelters."

Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, also condemned the Israeli attack on social media on the 10th, saying that Israel is committing "genocide" against the Palestinians.

Albanese specifically mentioned that Israel is using "American and European weapons" to attack Palestinians.

Earlier on the 10th, the Hamas media office issued a statement saying that the Israeli army bombed Tabin School that morning, where a large number of displaced people took refuge. The IDF issued a statement on the same day saying that the Israeli army had carried out a precise strike on a Hamas command center located in Tabin School "according to intelligence."

The health department of the Gaza Strip reported late on the 10th that since the outbreak of a new round of Palestinian-Israeli conflict in October last year, Israel's military operations in the Gaza Strip have caused the deaths of nearly 39,800 Palestinians and more than 91,000 injuries.
