"Smoke Movement-2024 Zhifu" National Defense Mobilization Operation Drill Successfully Held
On the morning of August 9, Yantai City successfully organized a national defense mobilization action drill for coastal cities under information warfare conditions at a coastal wharf. This was the largest exercise with the theme of national defense mobilization actions organized by the city since the reform of the national defense mobilization system.
Drill site
At 10 a.m., the drill officially began. It was divided into four stages: national defense mobilization peacetime-wartime conversion and action planning, combat force projection and support, important target protection, and elimination of war disaster consequences. Through the form of "video display + actual military drill", it demonstrated a relatively complete national defense mobilization from preparation to implementation. During the drill, the member units of the Municipal National Defense Mobilization Committee had a clear division of labor and careful planning; each drill team was energetic and skilled, and quickly completed the exercise tasks of the preset subjects according to instructions.
Participating teams
"The fourth phase of the exercise is to eliminate the consequences of war disasters." With the on-site explanation of the guide, various professional support teams went to the disaster site to carry out personnel search and rescue, medical rescue, fire fighting and emergency repair. It is reported that this exercise adopts the method of time compression, site displacement, small-to-many, and on-site performance. In accordance with the requirements of "real soldiers, real equipment, real sites, and real cases", it focuses on the needs of national defense mobilization and emergency military struggle preparation under the conditions of information warfare, and studies and explores new ideas and methods for the organization and implementation of national economic mobilization, transportation combat readiness mobilization, and civil air defense mobilization.
Various professional support teams carry out operations to eliminate the consequences of war disasters
The exercise was jointly organized by the Yantai National Defense Mobilization Office and the Zhifu District People's Government. A total of 11 national defense mobilization professional teams, more than 120 professional team members participated, and more than 30 types of professional equipment were mobilized. Among them, many new domains and new types of professional teams, such as the UAV professional team, the anti-UAV professional team, and the robot support professional team, participated in the exercise.
Drill site
"Through the drill, we tested the performance of protective and rescue equipment, exercised the comprehensive quality of the national defense mobilization professional team, improved the organizational command ability, rapid response ability and emergency rescue ability of commanders at all levels and important target units, and explored new ideas and methods for the next step of national defense mobilization to advance in depth." Zhao Mingshan, member of the Party Leadership Group, deputy director and second-level researcher of the Yantai National Defense Mobilization Office, said that the topic of this drill was new, the scope of participation was wide, and the subject content was comprehensive. In the next step, the results of the drill will be carefully sorted out to further strengthen the joint construction and use of traditional support forces and new types and new domains of national defense mobilization support forces.
