China News Service, Kunming, August 10 (Reporter Han Shuannan) On August 10, one of the series of activities of the Dianchi East Bank International Coffee Culture Carnival, challenging the Guinness World RecordsTM title - the largest coffee tasting party was held on the east bank of Dianchi Lake in Kunming, Yunnan. The total number of valid participants in this challenge reached 3,500, successfully breaking the previous Guinness World Record.

Yunnan is located in the world's golden coffee-growing zone where the Tropic of Cancer passes through. Its coffee planting area, output and output value account for more than 98% of China's total.
