In July this year, 50 students majoring in journalism and communication from 16 universities including Shih Hsin University and National Taiwan University in Taiwan came to the news center, Hunan Satellite TV, Mango TV, Xiaomang e-commerce and other channels and units under Hunan Radio and Television Group for internship exchanges. During the internship, the students worked in groups to go deep into popular programs such as "Singer 2024" and "Hello, Saturday" to experience front-line work such as editing, directing, planning, and operation.

Xu Yawei, a senior student majoring in radio and television from Shih Hsin University in Taiwan, said that this was her fourth visit to the mainland. "This time, in addition to feeling the enthusiasm of mainland compatriots, I also gained professional knowledge in a high-standard program internship and gained the passionate friendship across the Taiwan Strait. It was really worth the trip!"
During the internship, the "Love·Days in Mango" short video competition was launched. In groups or individually, under the guidance of professional staff of Hunan Radio and Television, the interns used their cameras to capture the wonderful moments of their internship and life in Hunan. They shot, produced and released more than 200 short videos. So far, the number of views on the entire platform has exceeded 10 million, and has attracted widespread attention from young netizens on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
Zeng Zhifu, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, said that the "Love in Mango" event has played an increasingly important role in attracting young Taiwanese to come to Hunan for internships and employment, promoting exchanges and cooperation between Hunan and Taiwan news media, enhancing mutual understanding between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, and deepening the feelings of compatriots. He is very pleased to see that young Taiwanese students have learned skills, gained friendships, and felt a different Hunan and the motherland in this event.
