The sixth "Youth Huangpu Tour" concluded in Guangzhou with a dual experience of "internship and study"

China Youth Daily Client News (China Youth Daily/China Youth Network reporter Lin Jie) On August 9, the 2024 "Youth Huangpu Tour" Hong Kong and Macao youth social practice activity and the signing ceremony for the settlement of Hong Kong and Macao enterprises were held in Guangzhou.
At the closing ceremony, nearly 80 young people from Hong Kong and Macao planned original stage plays, song choruses, recitations and other programs, and created Vlogs, essays, photography and other works to showcase what they saw, heard and gained during their internship in Guangzhou Huangpu, and present the current status of the Greater Bay Area's history and culture, scientific and technological innovation, and policy services.

The 2024 "Youth Huangpu Tour" event started on July 14, adopting a dual experience mode of "internship + study". In addition to professional internships and workplace experiences in different industries, Hong Kong and Macao youth also participated in theme activities organized by the organizers, such as the 100th anniversary commemoration of the Huangpu Military Academy, the "Creative Tour of the Bay Area, Chasing Dreams for the Future" science and technology enterprise visit tour, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Fun Party, and the Hong Kong and Macao Youth Collective Birthday Party.

At the scene, under the promotion of the Guangzhou Development Zone Guangzhou-Hong Kong Science and Technology Cooperation Park Management Committee and the Communist Youth League Guangzhou Huangpu District Committee, 7 Hong Kong and Macao enterprises involved in the fields of biomedicine, intellectual property, and the Internet settled in Huangpu and signed centralized settlement agreements. So far, more than 1,400 Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan enterprises have registered in Huangpu District.

A relevant person in charge of the Guangzhou Huangpu District Committee of the Communist Youth League said that the youth league organization will continue to deepen its services, integrate regional advantageous resources, expand areas of cooperation with youth from Hong Kong and Macao, and provide them with rich internship opportunities and a broad development platform.
The Communist Youth League of Guangzhou Huangpu District Committee has held the "Youth Huangpu Tour" series of activities for six consecutive years. From the job recruitment in March to the closing ceremony in August, it has linked the Hong Kong and Macao governments, Hong Kong and Macao universities, and various enterprises and institutions in Huangpu District to provide high-quality internship positions and logistical support services for Hong Kong and Macao youth. On the same day, six job-supplying units were awarded the honorary plaque of "Hong Kong and Macao Youth Social Practice Base" by the organizer; and five internship instructors were selected as "Excellent Internship Instructors" by the students.
