Roads are temporarily closed for maintenance, building entrances are hard to find, and waiting times for office building elevators are longer than expected... In order to solve these problems during food delivery, many deliverymen will use some map applets, which contain detailed delivery precautions marked by their peers regarding roads, delivery points, etc.
Recently, a small map program has sparked heated discussions for leaking passwords, spreading pornographic rumors, and marking swear words.
Map applet is full of malicious annotation information
On August 6, Dute News published a report, focusing on a small program called "Rider Community Building Number Map."
The mini program was originally designed to help food delivery riders quickly find community building numbers. However, when the reporter opened it, he found that in addition to most of the normally marked community building numbers, there were also marked information on the map that insulted users, made personal attacks, threatened retaliation, and even spread obscene rumors. This information was publicly visible to everyone on the map, even down to the house number.
No real-name authentication is required to mark and view
In addition, some deliverymen publicly marked the access codes of individual communities on maps to facilitate entry and exit, causing residents to worry about privacy and security.
The reporter also noticed that the interface of the mini program is simple. Based on the map function, it has developed functions such as positioning, marking, and notes. After trying to mark the map, the reporter found that the map's annotation content does not need to be reviewed. The annotator does not need real-name authentication, and anyone can view and add annotations anonymously.
Migrate to a backup account after complaint removal
The mini program was suspended on August 1 after receiving complaints. However, a search by a Dute News reporter on August 6 found that the mini program data had been migrated to another backup account, and the previous problems had not been resolved.
"The community access control password is directly disclosed to the public, resulting in an extremely low cost of crime. Anyone can sneak into the community by simply opening the mini program. It is not reasonable to exchange the safety of residents for work convenience." said a netizen.
Person in charge: The reporting function will be launched later
Through the company information provided by Tianyancha, the reporter contacted the person in charge of the mini program. As for the reason for the ban of the "Building Number Map", the other party said "It is not clear yet, and we are communicating with the review department."
When the reporter reported that the annotation information in the backup mini program could not be deleted and there were malicious annotations, the other party said: "Currently, you can only delete your own annotations, not others. The reporting function will be launched later."
Once the above content was reported, many media commented and pointed out the many hidden dangers caused by malicious labeling.
It has involved legal issues at multiple levels
The official WeChat account of Legal Daily published a comment pointing out that such behavior involves legal issues at multiple levels, including personal information and reputation rights.
First, the Civil Code clearly stipulates that personal information is protected by law, and no organization or individual may illegally collect, use, process or disclose other people's personal information. The behavior of "Rider Map" leaking sensitive information such as community access passwords and user addresses obviously infringes on the personal rights and interests of residents. At the same time, it may also cause property losses to residents and hide safety hazards. Secondly, labeling customers with dirty words and spreading obscene rumors not only infringes on consumers' reputation rights, but may also constitute defamation or insult.
Malicious annotations cast a shadow on tool attributes
The Beijing News analyzed that the mini program originally solved the big problems of riders and allowed customers to enjoy services in a timely manner. However, the emergence of malicious labeling has cast a shadow on its tool attributes.
For mini-program developers, it is their responsibility to raise the threshold for labeling through identity authentication, use manual or intelligent methods to strengthen information review, and block those expressions that are obviously illegal and full of personal emotions. It is necessary to realize that sacrificing a little convenience and getting mini-programs on the track of legal and compliant operation as soon as possible is truly beneficial to long-term development.
Strengthen supervision of similar mini-programs
Rednet commentator further pointed out that regulatory authorities should also strengthen supervision of similar mini-programs at this time. In addition to urging relevant entities to strengthen technical monitoring and blocking measures, a more complete complaint and reporting mechanism should be established to promptly handle and deal with illegal and irregular behaviors.
For mini programs that already have serious problems, they should be banned and interviewed in accordance with the law to prevent them from continuing to cause harm to the public and society.
As the comments have pointed out, the "last 100 meters" of express delivery and takeout delivery does require some accurate information assistance. At present, some places have introduced relevant measures to improve the terminal delivery efficiency of takeout express delivery.
Adding signs to residential areas
According to the Jiangsu Workers' Daily, the Nanjing Housing Security and Property Bureau began promoting the "at a glance" model in July last year - that is, adding signs and identification to residential communities.
After listening to the opinions and suggestions of the district housing bureau, streets, and property service companies, the Nanjing Housing Bureau formed standards for the production of signs and logos, requiring the setting of a master plan at each entrance and exit, sign maps at fork intersections, building numbers on the side of the building, and unit numbers on unit buildings.
As of the end of last year, the pilot project had been completed in 494 residential areas in Nanjing. At the same time, the sign setting has been listed as a list of renovation projects for old residential areas this year.
Drawing a “rider-friendly route map”
On January 26 this year, Beijing started building the first batch of rider-friendly communities in Yuetan in Xicheng, Sanlitun in Chaoyang, and Tiantongyuan in Changping to provide convenient services for riders.
For example, in Tiantongyuan East District 3, the streets and communities have improved the house number sign information and posted the drawn "rider-friendly route map" on multiple bulletin boards to help express delivery riders enter the house and find the way. The "route map" indicates the entrances and exits, building numbers, charging and swapping cabinets, parking areas, toilets and other infrastructure in the community. The online platform also updates the entrances and exits and convenience facilities of the relevant communities, and continuously optimizes the recommended delivery routes based on feedback.
