Recently, the main person in charge of the Haitong Town Government of Sheyang County and the person in charge of the CPPCC Liaison Committee led the heads of relevant units, CPPCC members in the jurisdiction and some corporate leaders to Sheyang Port for study and exchanges. They visited key enterprises in the low (zero) carbon industrial park on site and exchanged views on carbon brand creation and carbon sink resource integration.
Sheyang Port Low (Zero) Carbon Industrial Park takes zero-carbon industry as the "core", digital technology as the "base", and industrial-city integration as the "framework" of the construction path, focusing on five key areas including industrial energy conservation and carbon reduction, zero-carbon energy supply, carbon sink capacity improvement, energy-carbon collaborative management, and application scenario layout. It has done a solid job in energy carbon reduction, industrial zero carbon, and ecological carbon fixation, and is committed to building a green electricity application demonstration site, a green industry gathering place, and a green standard source. This event further enhanced everyone's understanding of the concept, technology, characteristics, and path of low (zero) carbon industrial parks, and broadened the new path for high-quality development.
The CPPCC members attending the meeting expressed that they will conduct in-depth investigations and research, report the situation in a timely manner, actively put forward suggestions, further leverage the effect of Haitong as the first AA-level zero-carbon township in the country, and contribute wisdom and strength to Haitong's high-quality development.
