Competition in the cross-border e-commerce industry will continue to be fierce in 2024. In order to promote the orderly development of the industry and allow more Chinese brands to go global, the 2024 Central China Cross-border E-commerce Conference was held in Hanyang District, Wuhan on August 9. Relevant departments of the province, city and district as well as representatives of cross-border e-commerce in the Central China region participated in the event. The Whale and Dolphin (Hanyang) Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park and the Eagle Bear Cross-border E-commerce Wuhan Operation Center were also officially launched on the same day. Within 5 years, the total import and export volume of the industrial park will be no less than 1.6 billion yuan per year.

Guo Xiaozhuan, mayor of Hanyang District People's Government, delivered a speech at the conference, saying that in recent years, cross-border e-commerce industrial parks such as Jingtun, Changjiang International Trade, and Wanglai Cloud Business have been established in Hanyang, and new "Hanyang-made" products such as Supor, Fuant, and Xigao Electric Appliances are exported to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. In 2023, foreign trade imports and exports increased by 115.7% year-on-year, showing a vigorous development trend. The cooperation between Jingtun Cross-border, Yingxionghui and Hanyang is a major move of strong cooperation, which will not only bring huge space for wealth creation and entrepreneurship to both parties, but also help Hanyang's foreign trade industry to accelerate its take-off.
