The summit attracted nearly 160 guests, including Zhou Dawei, President of the Australia-China Economic, Science, Technology and Culture Promotion Association, Zhang Lu, President of the Singapore International Zheng He Society, Andrew Robb, former Australian Federal Government Trade and Investment Minister, Jerome Laxall, Member of the Australian Federal Parliament, Su Xinfeng, Chairman of the Australia-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and representatives of entrepreneurs from China and Australia.

Zhou Dawei said in his speech that the Australia-China Economic, Science and Technology Culture Promotion Association has successfully hosted the China-Australia Economic and Trade Summit for four consecutive years, and each session has received strong support from the Australian government and Chinese and Australian enterprises. This year, the participation of the Singapore International Zheng He Society has added a lot of color to the summit and pushed the conference to a new height. He hopes that more companies and business representatives from Asia-Pacific countries will participate in the future and contribute to the economic prosperity of Australia, China and the Asia-Pacific region.

Zhang Lu introduced the background and mission of the Singapore International Zheng He Society, and reviewed how the society has been based in Singapore and promoted the spirit of Zheng He and the culture of the Maritime Silk Road since its establishment in 2003.

Andrew Robb said that China's economic development has made a huge contribution to global prosperity. As far as China-Australia trade is concerned, Australia is China's seventh largest trading partner. The two sides are highly complementary in economy and trade. China's strength can make up for Australia's shortcomings, and Australia's advantages can make up for China's shortcomings.

Jerome Laxar pointed out that China has implemented a 15-day visa-free policy for Australian citizens traveling to China since July this year, which is a huge benefit. In the future, Australia and China have broad prospects for cooperation in the fields of economic and trade cooperation, tourism, education and cultural exchanges.

Su Xinfeng, Chairman of the Australia-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that in the face of a complex international situation, Chinese and Australian companies must work closely together to meet challenges. This summit is not only a platform for exploring business opportunities, but also a bridge to promote information exchange and establish cooperation mechanisms. He expects entrepreneurs from all countries to share successful experiences and jointly explore new internationalization strategies.
