In order to solve the worries of people working outdoors under high temperature conditions, Wuxi Liangxi Urban Management and Community have taken the "Urban Management Entering the Community" work as an opportunity and continued to make efforts with the help of existing resources to create a summer resort for people working outdoors and bring them a sense of "coolness" in the hot summer.
More than 17 party-building alliance units and caring enterprises, including Liangxi Urban Management North Street Squadron, Changqing Road Community, and Tongjiang Police Station, regularly carry out the "Help Together" convenience service, serving more than 2,000 people. Changqing Road Community also joined hands with Liangxi Urban Management North Street Squadron to mobilize caring enterprises around Changqing Road to create free caring cooling spots to provide coolness for sanitation workers, urban management, takeaway brothers and other groups working on the front line in the area.
The Shanbei Squadron of Liangxi Urban Management Bureau joined hands with Shuanghe Community to launch the "Summer Cooling" activity. At the event, members of the urban management team delivered drinking water to sanitation workers, couriers, takeaway boys and other outdoor workers. The urban management team members of the Shanbei Squadron said that they are also outdoor workers and are well aware of the difficulties in high temperatures. Such activities make them feel that they are of great significance. They are not only heartwarming and respectful, but also have a sense of professional pride. At the same time, the community has also set up a cool area, providing tea, heatstroke prevention medicines, etc., to create a summer haven for all outdoor workers. It not only deepens the emotional connection between urban management and the community and residents, but also shows the care and support of all sectors of society for outdoor workers, and jointly draws a picture of a harmonious and inclusive city.
