Sony is reportedly planning to improve the rating system of the PlayStation Store software, providing users with the ability to write game reviews, similar to Steam's player reviews.

The current rating mechanism of PS Store is star rating (1-5 stars), which is based on the votes of registered users to rate the game star and display it on the details page. However, these ratings only provide numerical indicators and lack detailed information about the actual situation of the game.

Recently, a netizen on the Reddit forum said that he received an email link and was invited to write a review of "Helldivers 2" on the Playstation website. Other netizens also confirmed the news, saying that they also received emails asking them to write various game reviews for PS5. Most of these games are new works such as "Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth" and "Sword Star". The test for writing reviews currently seems to be accessible only from a specific link, and most of the invited players seem to be digital version users.

Given the popularity of Steam player reviews, Sony may be considering further reshaping its digital storefront to bring it closer to the former, and based on the feedback already available, fans are excited about the feature.
