Beijing News (Reporter Tian Jiexiong) On August 9, the 2024 Beijing Smart City Scenario Innovation Demand List (First Batch) and Achievement Release Conference with the theme of "Smart Drawing of Unlimited Future Scenarios" was held in Beijing. The relevant person in charge of Beijing Municipal Government Services and Data Administration Bureau said that scenario innovation is a new paradigm of ecological cooperation, co-construction and sharing, which requires the joint efforts of all sectors. The Municipal Government Services and Data Bureau insists on making scenario innovation an important starting point for smart city technology upgrades and industrial growth, and comprehensively plans scenario innovation work from aspects such as planning scenarios, improving scenario innovation capabilities, and accelerating scenario opening, so as to further enable high-quality urban development.
The reporter learned that in 2023, the city launched the innovation and opening of smart city scenarios, focusing on the pain points and difficulties in smart city construction, and focusing on key areas such as cutting-edge technologies, perception monitoring, urban governance, safety emergency response, smart agriculture, etc. In accordance with the "comprehensive list + special list" model, starting from small incisions and one thing, and gradually moving to large scenarios and cross-field innovation, forming a closed loop of scenario construction and industry cultivation, and continuously promoting the construction of smart city scenarios in Beijing.
At present, 11 domestic first-of-its-kind scene results have been formed, including the first language big model application for public government consultation and Q&A, the first big model service platform in the city's government affairs field, the first full-stack localized visual big model application, the first Yi model method system, the first domestic farmland soil on-site rapid detection system, the first domestic open-field vegetable intelligent autonomous transplanting prototype system, the first full-station multi-modal fusion perception monitoring system, the first "three sides and three levels" new model of smart elderly care, the first unmanned municipal inspection grid vehicle for public space operation in urban governance, the first off-site supervision system for key laboratory matters, and the first "three bags in front of the door" one-code co-governance technology application based on venue codes. These first-of-its-kind scene results have made breakthrough progress in technology, promoted business integration and innovation in key areas such as digital government affairs, smart agriculture, and urban governance, and improved the overall efficiency of smart city construction.
At the press conference that day, the 2024 Smart City Scenario Innovation Needs List was released in accordance with the "comprehensive list + special list" model, covering 38 scenario innovation needs in four major areas, including cutting-edge technologies, public services, social governance, and enterprise digital transformation. It will accelerate breakthroughs, deepen applications, and iterative innovations in technologies such as artificial intelligence, large models, big data, satellite navigation, and radar remote sensing.
The reporter noticed that these lists cover all aspects of urban life. For example, the comprehensive list at the municipal level released by the Beijing Municipal Government Services and Data Management Bureau includes 20 innovative requirements for key scenarios, such as one-stop dispatching of large models, large-scale government service model applications, and China Open smart tennis data analysis applications. Among them, the "China Open smart tennis data analysis application scenario" will use the world's first "China Hawkeye" technology to help athletes and coaches accurately review the game, improve training results and competition performance, and promote the innovation leadership and viewing leap of the China Open in the world.
In addition, there are special lists including urban security risk monitoring based on Beidou positioning and international data cross-border service hub applications, which will also help Beijing form a new system of efficient smart city governance in the future.
It is reported that the 2024 Beijing Smart City Scenario Innovation Demand List (first batch) aims to explore the real needs and pain points in business, management, and services, focusing on two scenarios: data element application and new technology integration. Guided by the principle of "people-friendly and accessible services and co-construction and sharing of urban governance", it actively explores pioneering solutions, deeply integrates technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, and injects the power of "wisdom" into urban construction.
