On the afternoon of August 8, a Boeing 737 freighter loaded with 20 tons of imported fruits landed smoothly at Changsha Huanghua International Airport, marking the smooth resumption of the Changsha-Bangkok all-cargo route.

It is reported that the Changsha-Bangkok cargo route is operated by Thai Air Max, using a Boeing 737-800BCF freighter with a maximum load of about 20 tons. The route is planned to operate 2 flights per week in the initial stage of operation, and the frequency will be increased in the later stage according to market demand. The export goods carried are mainly high value-added goods such as cross-border e-commerce products and electronic products, and the import goods are mainly fresh goods such as Thai durian, young coconut, mangosteen, etc.

"Currently, Changsha Airport has four stable cargo routes along the Belt and Road Initiative, with 13 round-trip flights per week and about 34,000 tons of cargo transported throughout the year." A relevant person in charge of Hunan Airport Logistics Co., Ltd. said that the resumption of this route will deliver Southeast Asian local specialty fruits and aquatic products to the tables of the general public, and will also deliver local cross-border e-commerce products to the Southeast Asian market, further broadening Changsha Airport's "Belt and Road" air logistics channel, serving Hunan's local import logistics supply chain, and supporting more "buy globally, sell globally" scenarios. It is expected to add 5,000 tons of cargo and mail throughput to Changsha Airport throughout the year. (Hunan Daily News, all-media reporter Yu Miao, correspondent Cui Jun)
