Affected by floods, more than 10,500 houses in Russia were flooded

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced on the evening of April 9 that it was carrying out flood relief work 24 hours a day. Although the floods are still serious, the disaster situation in some federal entities of Russia has eased. Currently, more than 10,500 houses and 19,400 residential plots in 37 federal entities of Russia have been flooded.

In the past day, 11 houses and 376 residential plots in Samara Oblast were freed from the disaster. In the Altai Territory, flood relief work is still going on, with more than 1,000 staff and 501 equipment working on site. In Orenburg Oblast, 4,000 experts and more than 800 equipment are carrying out flood relief work on site. More than 10,300 houses and 13,100 residential plots were flooded in Orenburg Oblast, and 6,555 people, including 1,597 children, have been evacuated.
