The boxing event of the Paris Olympics continued at the Roland Garros Stadium on the 8th. Chinese boxer Li Qian reversed the situation in the women's 75kg semi-finals and advanced to the next round, and will launch an impact on the gold medal. This is the fifth Chinese female boxer to enter the finals in this Olympics.

That night, facing the younger Australian player Parker, the 34-year-old veteran Li Qian appeared confident as she walked onto the ring, punching. In the first round, the two were evenly matched, and Li Qian tried her best to deal with her opponent's strong attack, but she fell behind in the score. In the second round, Li Qian adjusted her state in time and moved more actively on the field, equalizing the score. In the third round, the two fought each other, and the game was briefly suspended due to Parker's injury. In the end, Li Qian, who was more aggressive in the second half, won with a 5:0 reversal.

"In the first round, to be honest, the two of us were about the same, but we were behind at the time, so in order to gain the initiative (in the second and third rounds), I felt I had to step up my offense and put more pressure on my opponent," Li Qian recalled after the game.

In the previous two Olympic Games, Li Qian won the bronze and silver medals in the women's boxing 75kg category. This time she hopes to realize her "gold medal dream" in Paris. On the 10th, she will face the 35-year-old Panamanian veteran Veron in the final.

Among the six Chinese female boxers participating in this Olympics, five have reached the finals. Two of them have won a gold and a silver for the Chinese team, while Wu Yu, Yang Liu and Li Qian will compete for the gold medal in the next two days.
