On August 8, the 18th China Brand Festival 2024 (hereinafter referred to as "China Brand Festival") with the theme of "New Quality and Breakthrough" opened in the International Hall of Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center. Wang Yong, Chairman of the China Brand Festival and Chairman of the Brand Alliance, said that as an industry weather vane, the China Brand Festival carries with it the powerful potential accumulated in the past every time it is held to empower the development of a city.

Ye Guofu, founder, chairman of the board and CEO of MINISO Group, proposed three "super" thoughts on the global development of enterprises: becoming a super platform is necessary to become a great enterprise, possessing super technology and super brand. In Ye Guofu's view, these three "super" have their own characteristics, but among them, super brand is the most suitable for start-ups to learn, and is especially suitable for China's 1.4 billion consumer population.

At the Honor Ceremony held on the same day, the China Brand Festival also announced lists such as "Top 500 Chinese Brands in 2024", "Top 500 World Brands in 2024", and "Top 500 Chinese Innovative Brands in 2024".
