On August 7, the 2024 fourth "Challenge Blue Friends" Xishan Firefighting Summer Camp for younger age groups opened. 33 primary school students from Kunming City transformed into "little firefighters" in Xishan and started a three-day firefighting study tour.

During the three-day activity for the younger age group, primary school students will explore the Natural Expo with Xishan's "blue friends", embark on a "honey" journey, participate in the intangible cultural heritage of dough modeling... Each activity incorporates elements of fire safety education, allowing children to naturally master fire safety knowledge while having fun, making fire safety education closer to life and more vivid and interesting.
By going deep into different scenarios, constantly learning and unlocking new knowledge and skills, and learning the fire safety knowledge that should be known and mastered in various scenarios in an entertaining way, the publicity and education of fire safety knowledge can be closer to reality.

On the first day of the camp for the younger age group, there was constant laughter in the Kunming World Expo Park. 33 "little firefighters" started a fun and interesting traditional cultural experience journey under the guidance of Xishan's "blue friends".

From cold zone plants, temperate zone plants to tropical plants, the children were dazzled by the variety of plants in the large greenhouse of Kunming World Expo Park. They were amazed at the beauty of Yunnan's biodiversity and cherished the hard-won ecological balance more under the teacher's explanation. During the activity, the "blue friends" cleverly integrated forest fire safety knowledge into the activity, allowing the children to deeply understand the importance of protecting nature and paying attention to fire safety while learning about plants.
Afterwards, the "little firefighters" arranged the petals and leaves into different shapes under the guidance of the teacher and made plant rubbing eco-friendly bags by themselves. Dongdongdong, dongdongdong... With the sound of knocking, beautiful and unique eco-friendly bags were made one after another, which not only exercised their hands-on ability but also enhanced their environmental awareness.
