In the hot summer, the car is like a steamer after being exposed to the sun, and the items placed in the car are also being "baked" and may become "car bombs" at any time. The sunscreen spray and mosquito repellent that are "standard" in summer are hidden "killer" and will "bring you into trouble" if you are not careful.
Recently, firefighters conducted several experiments to tell you how risky it is to leave these items in your car.
After exposure to the sun, the temperature inside the car is close to 70℃
At the experimental site, when firefighters used a thermal imager to measure the ground temperature, it showed that the temperature was around 52°C, and the external temperature of the black vehicle reached around 70°C. After opening the door, they found that after a short period of exposure to the sun, the temperature inside the car had reached 69°C.
Fire Reminder:Parents should never leave their children alone in the car. In high temperatures, the temperature inside the car rises rapidly and children are prone to heatstroke, dehydration, and even life-threatening conditions.

Lighter placed under the front windshield
At the experiment site, firefighters placed two lighters under the front windshield and exposed them to strong sunlight. After only 12 minutes, one of the lighters expanded and exploded.
Fire Reminder:Do not place lighters, power banks, canned sprays, perfumes, and other items that may explode when exposed to heat in the car to prevent them from exploding due to high temperatures and causing fires.
Sunscreen spray exposed to open flame
At the experiment site, the firefighter lit a lighter, picked up a sunscreen spray, and sprayed it into the air. When the sunscreen spray was close to the open flame, it instantly turned into a "flame gun."
Fire Reminder:Sunscreen spray contains flammable substances and has a certain degree of volatility. Please be careful when using it and avoid fire sources.

Mosquito repellent exposed to open flames
At the experiment site, the firefighters poured mosquito repellent into a bowl, and then successfully ignited it with a lighter, and the mosquito repellent burned quickly.
Fire Reminder:Mosquito repellent contains denatured ethanol, butane, isobutane and other flammable substances, which will burn when exposed to open flames. Do not approach open flames or enter the kitchen immediately after spraying it on the skin to avoid accidents caused by the mosquito repellent not evaporating.
Finally, the fire department said that items such as lighters that can cause fires due to sunlight should not be placed in the car, and children should not be left alone in the car. When using sunscreen spray and mosquito repellent, be sure to stay away from fire sources. Everyone needs to be vigilant when using these items in daily life.
