On August 6, the "Choose Jinan and Win the Future Together" 2024 Outstanding College Students Employment and Entrepreneurship "Quancheng Tour" training camp, hosted by the Jinan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, was officially launched. During the three-day period, 200 outstanding college students from more than 40 universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nanjing University, and Shandong University will get to know Jinan, understand Jinan, and choose Jinan through project roadshows, park research, and Quancheng experience activities, starting a two-way rush between talents and the city.
On the afternoon of August 6, 200 college students were divided into four groups according to their majors and visited representative companies in the big data and new generation information technology industry represented by Inspur and Supercomputing, smart manufacturing and high-end equipment industry represented by Machine Tool Plant No. 2 and China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, biomedicine and health industry represented by Huaxi Biology and Qilu Pharmaceutical, and advanced materials industry represented by Shengxin Electronics, Jingzheng Electronics, and Chinese Academy of Sciences Jinan Science and Technology Innovation City.
Recently, the first batch of "Quancheng Good Products" brand list was officially announced. The first batch of 69 brands are all leaders in the development of various industries in Jinan in recent years. Among them, the Chinese "heavy equipment" such as the CNC machine tools of No. 2 Machine Tool, Sinotruk heavy trucks, and Inspur servers that were visited by the training camp are all on the list.
On the afternoon of August 6, 30 students majoring in mechanical manufacturing visited Jinan No. 2 Machine Tool and China National Heavy Duty Truck Group for a visit and study.
Among them, at Jinan No. 2 Machine Tool, the relevant person in charge led the students to visit the company’s history museum, mechanical processing workshop, and assembly workshop, and learned about the company’s development history and strong production and manufacturing capabilities.
Inside the workshop, the machines were running busily, and the world's most advanced large-scale stamping production line was produced here. Engineer Wang Jin introduced the process flow and technical characteristics of the stamping equipment to the campers in detail, allowing everyone to deeply feel the charm of high-end manufacturing.
Yang Weizhuang, a student from Shandong University, said he was shocked after visiting the workshop. Through the in-depth and immersive visit and communication, he learned more professional knowledge in the industry, broadened his horizons and gained more knowledge.

After the visit, an on-site exchange seminar of "Quancheng Tour" was held at Jinan No. 2 Machine Tool.
