A relevant person in charge of China Telecom Guizhou Company told reporters that the network integrates the 800MHz frequency band and HDSS technology, significantly improving the 4G/5G network experience: the 4G network speeds up by 17.92% and 14.86% in the uplink and downlink respectively, and the 5G network speeds up by 23.28% and 45.60% in the uplink and downlink respectively compared with the 4G network. The average daily wireless traffic increased by 18.84%, and surged by 35.37% during the Spring Festival. This achievement not only optimizes the video and Internet experience of rural users in Guizhou, but also lays a solid communication foundation for the construction of the country's digital villages.
During the interview, the reporter learned that in recent years, China Telecom Guizhou Company has actively responded to the call for the "signal upgrade" special work proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other national ministries and commissions, and implemented the "significant improvement of mobile network (4G and 5G) signals" action in rural areas of towns and villages, adopting an efficient dual-network coverage strategy to ensure user experience.
