Yuzui Railway Freight Station, located in Yufu District, Liangjiang New Area, has two stations, north and south, with a total area of 923 mu. It is connected to Guoyuan Port through a dedicated railway line. It is an important link between the three major international logistics channels of the Western Land-Sea Corridor, the China-Europe Express (Chengdu-Chongqing) and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway. It is also a regional railway logistics center in Chongqing's medium- and long-term railway network planning.
On July 31, the reporter saw that cars made in Liangjiang were queuing up to enter containers and then distributed to all parts of the country. Such scenes have become the norm. According to data, in the first half of this year, Yuzui Railway Freight Station received and dispatched a total of 186,000 commercial vehicles, and the railway network has reached more than 50 stations in 25 cities across the country.

The person in charge of the freight station told reporters that the freight station is currently continuously increasing its efficient connection with trunk railways, further strengthening its efforts to organize cargo sources, and increasing railway freight volume and overall transportation efficiency.
At the Sino-Singapore (Chongqing) Multimodal Transport Demonstration Base across the road, the coming and going of vehicles demonstrates the busyness of this modern logistics base. By the end of June, the base's warehouse utilization rate reached 100%, the container yard utilization rate reached 64%, the total operation volume exceeded 7,300 TEUs, an increase of 37% year-on-year, and the total circulation value exceeded 4.1 billion yuan, an increase of 150% year-on-year.
Relying on the well-developed transportation conditions of Guoyuan Port National Logistics Hub and the seamless logistics network of "water, rail and road", the base has further expanded the scale of bulk trade procurement business and promoted the development and quality improvement of bulk commodity trade business. In the first half of this year, the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Multimodal Transport Demonstration Base signed contracts for the purchase of titanium dioxide, ferrochrome and electrolytic manganese and other products exceeding 7,200 tons, with a cumulative contract value of more than 92 million yuan.
In addition, the base has established cooperative relationships with international suppliers to purchase high-quality frozen beef, chicken and other products from Australia, New Zealand, Belarus and other places, and transport them to Chongqing through the well-connected transportation network of Guoyuan Port. After inspection is completed at the designated inspection site for imported meat in Guoyuan Port, the local market's demand for imported meat products is met.
