What subsidies do people in Suqian get for buying cars?

The reporter learned that recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance issued the Notice on Several Measures to Strengthen Support for Large-Scale Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Trade-in (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), raising the subsidy standard for scrapping and updating cars. Based on the Implementation Rules for Subsidies for Trade-in Cars, individual consumers who scrap fuel passenger cars with emission standards of National III or below or new energy passenger cars registered before April 30, 2018 (including that day), and purchase new energy passenger cars included in the Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models for Vehicle Purchase Tax Reduction and Exemption or fuel passenger cars with a displacement of 2.0 liters or less, will receive a subsidy of 20,000 yuan for new energy passenger cars and 15,000 yuan for fuel passenger cars with a displacement of 2.0 liters or less.

Consumers who apply for subsidies from the date of issuance of the "Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Subsidy for Old Vehicles for New Vehicles" on April 24, 2024, will receive subsidies in accordance with the standards in the notice. Consumers who apply for subsidies in accordance with the standards in the notice must have their scrapped motor vehicles registered in their names before the date of issuance of the notice. Consumers who submit eligible subsidy applications from April 24 will receive subsidies in accordance with the adjusted standards; consumers who have already received subsidies will receive the difference in subsidies.

It is understood that in May this year, our city issued the "Work Plan on Promoting Large-Scale Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Trade-in in Suqian". The plan clearly pointed out that we should promote the trade-in of cars, strengthen scrap management, and eliminate old vehicles.
