Pezerhiziyan also said that Israel's crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the assassination of Hamas Politburo leader Haniyeh violated international law and that Israel would "be answered for its crimes."

Shoigu said that Iran is one of Russia's important strategic allies in the region, and the relations between the two countries are developing in all fields. Russia is willing to speed up the completion of cooperation projects with Iran.
