Recently, ChinaJoy 2024, China's largest game exhibition, was held in Shanghai, showcasing games developed by Chinese developers. Many players are most interested in "Black Myth: Wukong" and "Shadow Blade Zero". Both games were exhibited under the name of PlayStation, which caused dissatisfaction among some players, but the developers quickly explained that "Black Myth" and "Shadow Blade Zero" did not sign an exclusive agreement with Sony.

Reporters interviewed Game Science and S-GAME Studio developers at the ChinaJoy exhibition, and they talked about the topic of PS5 exclusivity. It is reported that their cooperation with the PlayStation game department is indeed very close. PlayStation has provided full support for the promotion of games in China and other regions. In a sense, Sony is the publisher of "Black Myth" and "Shadow Blade Zero". However, this cooperation does not impose any obligations on the development team. Developers decide independently on which platforms to release games, and they most want to release games on PC and PS5.

An anonymous developer of Shadow Blade Zero pointed out that PlayStation has helped many studios in testing, providing specialized debugging tools and even sending engineers to help. He said PlayStation also helped optimize the PS5 and PC versions.

When he was asked why his studio didn't want to release games on Xbox, he said that no one was interested in Xbox, that the console wasn't popular in Asia, and that Microsoft's ecosystem was so crowded that it was difficult for them to develop games for it.
