Regarding Apple's performance, research director Jeff Fieldhack said:

There were concerns that iPhone sales would disappoint after North American carriers reported record low upgrade rates and declining iPhone sales. We estimate that Apple's iPhone sales were flat and revenue fell 1% year-over-year despite growth in the Pro series. Apple's sales in China fell 6.5%, but the situation could have been worse. Apple's sales in China improved due to attractive discounts offered during the 618 shopping festival. Apple's outlook looks solid due to greater supply chain anticipation for the upcoming iPhone 16 series and huge expectations for Apple smartphones.
